Meet Student Designer: Andrew Nigel Robinson

Andrew Nigel Robinson is an English American fashion designer from St.Louis, MO, and based in Chicago. Andrew’s medium consists of small batch ready-to-wear garments in a gender-neutral landscape.

Andrew places a strong emphasis on creating using the finest of fabrics and natural materials. Garments are prepared consciously with sustainable approaches; Andrew defies the narrative that sustainability and conscious design is limited to large budgets. He sources fine materials from the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain. Andrew incorporates inspiration from the things he sees around him. His namesake label, “Andrew
Nigel Robinson,” which he began in 2021, houses all his seasonal collections.

Andrew is affiliated with Columbia College Chicago.
