CHICAGO, Ill. — Rey-Lee McDonald joins Sustainable Fashion Week Chicago (SFWC) to speak at the Sustainable Fashion Symposium on Saturday, September 26 at 1 pm, as part of the Fall Winter 2026 (FW26) program.
McDonald is the founder of Ethicloset, a sustainable fashion marketplace created to address mass consumption and micro-trends. She started this business in 2024, hoping to make a significant impact while completing her education.
Currently, McDonald is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania where she studies law and society with a minor in environmental humanities.

McDonald said, “I’m pursuing a career in environmental law and continuing to build Ethicloset as a marketplace to keep sustainable fashion stylish, accessible and affordable!”
In parallel to her studies and business ventures, McDonald holds the role of president of the environmental group at the University of Pennsylvania and is a student representative for the sustainability department.
