GVXO Makes SFWC Runway Debut for FW26

CHICAGO, Ill. — GVXO will make its Sustainable Fashion Week Chicago (SFWC) debut at the Fall Winter 2026 (FW26) fashion show.

GVXO, pronounced heh-veh-kso, is a Chicago-based and Latina-owned slow fashion brand.

Founder and designer Ganitzia Arellano, said, “the brand creates versatile, expressive clothing and accessories for the intentional woman, combining contemporary design with upcycling, zero-waste practices and small batch production.”

Each design challenges the traditional idea of what sustainable fashion can look like through bold silhouettes, thoughtful details and reimagined materials. GVXO creates pieces to move with the wearer across different settings, seasons and moments.

Each collection explores themes of culture, identity and place, while encouraging a more intentional relationship with fashion.

“I’m committed to creating fashion that feels colorful, edgy, chic and distinctly personal,” Arellano said. “GVXO proves that sustainability and style can exist beautifully together.”

Arellano’s designs have been showcased across Chicago, Paris, New York, and Durango, Mexico.

The Columbia College Chicago graduate obtained a BFA in fashion design, which equipped her with the tools and education to explore thoughtfully designed clothing and accessories beyond the classroom, that celebrate individuality, versatility and intentional living.

“Ultimately, [I want to] champion sustainable design [the] creative community and accessible education,” she said.
