Emma Mendell Returns to the Runway for FW26

CHICAGO, Ill. — Emma Mendell returns to the runway for Sustainable Fashion Week Chicago (SFWC) for Fall Winter 2026 (FW26).

Mendell, a senior at Dominican University studying fashion with a minor in merchandising, said, “designing and creating pieces has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I love making classy and elegant garments with a fresh twist. My goal with every piece is for it to stand out in a crowd while still looking effortless.”

Mendell participated in SFWC’s Blue Paradox Sustainable Fashion event where she showcased garments that blended sustainability with edgy sophistication.

When asked about her fashion journey and style, Mendell said, “fashion, to me, is about more than just clothing—it’s about expression, individuality and innovation. Every design [of mine] ensures that each piece is unique and refined. As I continue to grow as a designer, I’m excited to push creative boundaries and redefine contemporary fashion in my own way.”
